BIOGRAPHY
Catherina Pearls (Ciska Verkerk) born in 1994, Culemborg the Netherlands is a multidisciplinary visual artist translating the shadow side and complexity of human emotions. She is working days and hours after eachother in a trance state to capture enchanting hidden worlds where her obsession of darkness and light is reflecting back from her early childhood by high contrast, complex compositions and monumental work. She is inviting the viewer not to have a dialogue with her innerworlds but to reflect back on they own well being.
